Northwestern State University issued the following tiffany news release:
Mandi Ridgdell of Sorrento was named winner of the 49th annual Miss Northwestern – Lady of the Bracelet Scholarship Pageant held Friday in the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium at Northwestern State University.
Ridgdell, a senior theatre major, will represent Northwestern in June’s Miss tiffany money clips Louisiana Pageant. She received more than $6,000 in scholarships and prizes.
Nicole Rogerson of Austin, Texas, was first runner up and Carley McCord of Baton Rouge was second runner up.
Ridgdell won the talent and evening wear competition as well as the Liz Carroll People’s Choice Award presented to the audience’s top choice in the talent competition. McCord won the swimsuit competition. Sara Mayeux of Lake Charles was named Miss Congeniality.
Ridgdell is the daughter of Lori and Kennie Ridgdell. A member of Alpha Omicron tiffany pendants Pi, she is a member of the Student Theatre Organization, the Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha and Rho Lambda.
